Speedy Hire awards maintenance and support contract to DiPerk

 

 

DiPerk, the sole authorised distributor of Perkins engines in the UK, has been awarded a contract by the UK’s leading hire provider, Speedy Hire (Speedy), to be its preferred supplier for repairs and maintenance support for equipment with a Perkins engine.

 

Speedy is the UK’s leading tools, equipment and plant hire company, also providing training, testing inspection and certification services, as well as product and consumables sales. Speedy operates in the UK construction, infrastructure, industrial, utilities, events and facilities management markets, and in the Middle East and Kazakhstan.

 

Speedy’s hire fleet of approximately 300,000 assets or circa 5,000 product lines encompasses tools, plant, access, lifting, survey, safety, rail and power generation.

With a lot of this equipment featuring a Perkins engine, Speedy required a reliable partner that could provide high-quality maintenance and service support.

 

As part of the new deal, DiPerk will provide Speedy with a comprehensive warranty and aftermarket support offering, covering service, maintenance and parts supply.

 

The agreement will help ensure Speedy can optimise the availability of its hire equipment and quickly resolve any issues should they arise, helping to reduce downtime for customers in the process.

So, we wanted a partner who can react quickly to any equipment service requirements. Due to the depth of product knowledge and experience with Perkins engines, as well as its reputation in the market place, we decided to award the contract to DiPerk.
