JMS Plant Hire Access all markets with Manitou

Hertfordshire based Access Hire Company JMS Plant Hire has recently invested in five new Manitou rough terrain access platforms for their continually expanding hire fleet. Today’s construction sites are demanding more efficient machinery and the Manitou ATJ Articulated Boom Platforms are the perfect solution for safe operating at height. JMS Plant Hire have purchased two different ATJ models, the 200ATJ model can operate at an impressive 20 metre working height and the 160ATJ at 16 metre. The rough terrain capability is a Manitou tradition over fifty years of product development, so it was a natural progression to incorporate the expertise of decades of all terrain performance in the ATJ Access machinery. Designed with excellent ground clearance, three steering modes for maximum agility, hydrostatic transmission for total flexibility of operation, heavy duty axles and 4 wheel drive to conquer the most challenging site conditions.

Mark Jackson, Managing Director of JMS Plant Hire is a keen advocate of the Manitou brand. “Reliable machinery is crucial to our company and we are dedicated to providing a first class customer service. Manitou telehandlers are a popular part of our hire fleet, so it was only natural that we should invest in the Manitou Access Platforms. Customers like their ease of use and the safety and comfort which features in all the Manitou products and is second to none”.

In addition to the ATJ machines, JMS Plant Hire have invested in the top of the range 280TJ Manitou Telescopic Platform with an outstanding working height of 28 metre, the 280TJ is fitted with a pivot system at the base of the jib which maximises the outreach performance to 21 metres and an automatic system for lifting and telescopic functions allowing for vertical and horizontal movements.

The basket capacity of the 280TJ allows for three people plus tools and is designed for maximum comfort.

In addition to the rough terrain ATJ platforms, JMS also offer the six Manitou 100VJR Vertical Lift Platforms for indoor applications where the working height of 10 metre is ideally suited for inspection work and maintenance duties.

Easy to use, durable and robust design were the criteria for JMS Plant Hire when they researched the market for Access Platforms and Manitou are the first choice for reliability and strength to add another chapter to the success story of JMS Plant Hire.
