IPS has created a new e-commerce website, making it even easier for owners of access platforms and lifting equipment to buy replacement parts.
Customers can use the quick-search facility to search more than 50,000 line items for the right part, or filter them by manufacturer, model and category. IPS offers next-day delivery for online orders placed before 4.30pm, on all stock inventories.
Buyers have the option to pay on account, or up front via most major debit or credit cards. Advanced features for registered customers include the ability to assign multiple users to one account as well as save orders and access their order history, enabling very fast and convenient placing of repeat orders. Companies with multiple locations can add – and store – as many delivery addresses as required. Furthermore, there is a quick and easy option for submitting a parts return request.
Kevin Shadbolt, Operations Director for IAPS Group, which owns IPS, said: “The new IPS web shop gives our customers the flexibility to order replacement parts 24/7. This new e-commerce capability enables us to further reduce machine down time for our customers, while also making it quicker and easier for them to find the parts they need. It will be a real time-saver for workshop engineers and purchasing managers in terms of how long they currently spend identifying and ordering parts.”
IPS has more than a decade of experience in supplying replacement parts and is the official UK parts distributor for a number of manufacturers including Genie, Hinowa, Omme Lift, Isoli, Youngman BoSS, Grove Manlift, Manitou, Pop-Up and MEC. It also offers a wide range of after-market parts for lesser-known brands and obsolete machines, sourced directly from the component manufacturers. Its team of experienced access parts specialists, coupled with a sophisticated parts database, ensure IPS provides a high level of technical support to customers, differentiating it from other companies that simply offer a limited range of cheaply-priced components with little or no assistance to solve customer problems.
The new website is the latest addition to the IPS offering. The company recently created a new range of filter kits for popular access platforms and telehandlers, for brands including Genie, JLG, Niftylift, Skyjack, Haulotte, Manitou, JCB and Holland Lift. IPS has compiled sets of air, hydraulic oil and fuel filters for each model, helping to reduce the amount of time customers spend searching through parts lists to find the various products.
Also now in stock and available to buy online are a new line of wheels for electric ‘slab’ scissor lifts. The new additions are a lower cost option for owners of older platforms, and provide an alternative to expensive or hard to obtain originals from the manufacturers.
