Industry specialist joins the successful MC Rental sales team

 

As part of a planned drive to expand its growing rental and contract hire business, MC Rental has appointed industry specialist Andy Walker to the newly created position of National Account Manager for the South East based company.

Andy’s responsibilities in his new role at MC Rental will be to create and develop new opportunities for additional national contract hire and rental business for the company, as it expands its portfolio of LCV and HGV assets over the next few years.

Andy reports directly MC Group Sales Director, Dave Hutchins, who said, “We are really pleased that Andy has joined our national sales team as he brings with him a wealth of valuable experience in this sector. He will most certainly play an important role in the ongoing development of the MC Rental business driving it forward in the future.”

Andy joins MC Rental with a strong pedigree within the contract hire and truck rental industry, having held the position of National Account Manager at Ryder for five years. Prior to that role, Andy also worked for Fraikin as Strategic Customer Development Manager.

Andy says,” Historically, I have followed the progress of MC Rental for several years and been impressed by the success that they have achieved, in particular, by the way that they have grown the business through quick strategic decision making. When the opportunity arose to join the MC team, it was a quick and easy decision to join such a customer focussed organisation.”
