Facilities management is emerging as a key market area for Seddons Plant & Engineers who specialise in the supply of quality branded groundcare and construction equipment, engines and parts.
For the first time, Seddons Plant & Engineers exhibited at the Facilities Show 2017 hosted at ExCeL, London, and the company was overwhelmed with the huge amount of interest in the range of Stihl and Honda lawn and garden care products showcased on the Seddons Plant & Engineers stand.
Stephen Seddon, Managing Director of Seddons Plant & Engineers said: “Over the three days of the show there was massive interest in the range of solutions we could offer to the facilities management market. In particular the Stihl Pro cordless range which is designed for the maintenance of large gardens and professional applications in noise-sensitive areas. The products offer particular benefits for facilities management providers as quiet, emission-free, battery power allows freedom of movement whilst carrying out gardening, construction and landscape maintenance tasks.”
One of the most popular products at the Facilities Show 2017 was the Stihl MSA 160 C-BQ Cordless Chainsaw which has zero exhaust emissions, no power lead to get in the way and is so quiet that no ear protection is even necessary. Another popular model was the Stihl BGA 85 Cordless Blower which helps facilities management providers to rapidly clear leaves, cuttings and litter and is also portable, quiet and powerful.
